Workshops are exclusively accessible to Sax Bandits members as an optional addition to a paid membership.
Learn from the best professional musicians in the industry as they share their unique musical knowledge and insights. Workshops usually focus on a specific musical topic or saxophone skill not typically covered in our regular band sessions, such as; rhythm training, jazz improvisation, breathing technique, or music theory.
Workshops can vary in structure and duration but typically last 3-4 hours. The amount of spaces on a workshop are limited to ensure participants can get stuck into the material and interact with the tutor as much as possible. The location of workshops varies to cater for the widest catchment of members in an area.
To see upcoming workshops, visit the ‘Gigs & Workshops’ Calendar on Sax HQ.

Consisting mostly of alto and tenor saxophones, we settled into a horse-shoe shape and set up our stands…
